The way I could creatively intruduce my career is by explaining what a Pediatric nurse do, like how do they help people that come to the clinic or in what way they attend there patients. As you can see the career I'll be talking about is about a Pediatric nurse, A pediatric nurse is someone who cares from birth too there adolescence witch includes clinic pal and psychological aspects of nursing care.
I'm interested in being a pediatric nurse because I've always loved to take care of kids and I love helping others in need because it's just an amazing feeling. The topics I'll be talking about to you will be about the history of pediatric nursing, the requirements to obtain the job, and the reflection of the pediatric job.
Pediatric nursing did not develope in the United States until the nineteenth century. That means that kids way back didn't really get the health care that they needed. A famouse historical person that was a nurse would be Florence Nightgale she was one of the most famouse nurse in history, by the time that she was 16 she knew that she wanted to be a nurse and she knew that nursing would be her purpose. Florence was in the military heatlth system to help the one that would be injured, she was known for that.
The type of education that I'll need to be a pediatric nurse is that I'll need a license by the state by completing a minimum of associates degree in nursing and by passing a national licensing exam.
The local colleges or programs that offer me the education to become a pediatric nurse are Capella university. A few goal that I have to set to get this job is too graduate from high school with really good grades, then head of to college and and get really good grades, get a scholarship It might take 2-3 years problebly. the daily duties of a nurse are just prescribing medications to patients, giving checkups to there patients. A pediatric nurse schedule is sometimes a 10-hour shift work for four days a week. The job is mostly done in any clinic around where you live.
The income range for this job is 65,000.
Something that would be challenging about having this career would be that you would have to take many classes In college and would be almost 3 years in college. A positive thing about this is that you'll get to help so many kids and grown ups that are in need and by biennial able to help someone is so amazing. The career of pediatric nursing is really important in our society because
many grow ups and kids have heatlth problems and being a nurse can help so much.
This career would be a good for me because i know that I really love helping kids and well I know that if I ever get to help someone in need it will give me such a good feeling because you would know that person that you just helped will be good for a long while.
